Link Types in the Ontology

In an Ontology, Object Types have minimal meaning on their own. They need to be tied together in some way. What good is a rail car if it can’t belong to a train? How would patients get care if they can’t be assigned a nurse?

This is where Link Types come in. They codify the relationships between Object Types.

Though intuitive to use, Ontology designers should make sure to understand everything they offer.
